Our Mission Statement

We specialize in serving nuerodivergent individuals and their families, including but not limited to gifted, highly sensitive, and people with Autism. Our mission is to help members of all of our communities, local and broad, with the things that are truly important to thrive, both in their own lives and in their relationships, to grow in self-understanding, to promote community awareness, and to make wellness a down to earth practice.

Our Vision Statement

Our vision is to serve nuerodivergent individuals and their families, including but not limited to gifted, highly sensitive and those with Autism with top notch care, such that they are understood, supported and can thrive. Our secondary vision is to eliminate mental health stigma by creating awareness of, appreciation for, and acceptance of mental health self care.

 

 

Our Values Statement

Our values include the following:

 

1. Serve Neurodiverse Populations

We specialize in serving neurodivergent populations, including people, but not limited to, gifted, highly sensitive, Autistic, people with ADHD, learning differences, etc. We believe in life-long learning to grow in specific skills that will benefit and best serve these neuroatypical populations excellent, effective mental health treatment and assessment.

 

 

2. Great and Strong Relationships

Building strong, meaningful relationships is a basic need for all of us. We value building relationships within our community and helping our clients do the same. It’s also a hallmark of our business to promote strong, lasting bonds within our team and to work collaboratively both in the office and out in the communities we serve, local and broad.

 

 

3. Serve Our Local Community

Part of our mission is to contribute in promoting understanding and acceptance of our niche populations and wellness within the local community, through community involvement, speaking engagements, and other supportive services. It is our goal, that through regular outreach in the community, we can reach more people and provide psychoeducational services to students, teachers + administration, and businesses in the community.

 

 

4. Promote Inclusion

We promote hiring clinicians of varying backgrounds, beliefs, and specialties to better serve the diverse and unique experience of our clients. It’s also important that our office promotes the foundation of diversity, equity, and inclusivity in its culture and practice. We welcome clients from all backgrounds and we believe in being actively anti racist, anti homophobic, anti transphobic, anti sexist, and anti xenophobic in our practice. We welcome clients of all sexual orientations, gender expressions, sexual practices, and relationship structures.

 

 

5. Stand Against Racism

We stand against racism, hate and intolerance. As mental health therapists and counselors, our work is strongly guided by our social justice values. Our values of equity and inclusion are woven into the work we do, how we carry ourselves, and how we show up in our community. It is woven into our graduate education, is a part of our ethical standards, and is a big reason most of us join the field of helping people. We strive to have a diverse team of talented therapists, and we work together to support our community, erase the stigma around mental health, and make wellness something that is accessible to every member of our community.

 

 

6. Invest in Quality

We’re committed to providing the best atmosphere for our clients and our team. It’s seen in our thoughtful workspace for our employees and a comforting space for our clients to offering the extra touches like tea, music, and a collaborative environment for our team and wrap around services for our clients. We promote continued education for our clinicians through CE Units and regular training events so clients can feel safe knowing their therapist is always growing in their skills.

 

 

7. Self-Care

We are committed to our own self-care and doing our own work. We believe that in order to support our clients’ healing and growth, we must hold empathy and kindness in our own healing process.

 

 

8. Share Values and Standards For Our Work

We meet regularly as a team, to support and learn from each other. During these meetings, we consider and explore our personal values and standards in terms of our work together. As a team, we carefully composed this list of values that we strive to embody at TheraThrive:
