My Education, Credentials and Experience
I am licensed by the state of California as a Psychologist (PSY29354). I completed my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and Masters in Psychology at the The New School for Social Research in New York City.
I completed my predoctoral internship at an American Psychology Association (APA) nationally accredited training site—Beth Israel Medical Center in New York (now called Mount Sinai Beth Israel). I completed my postdoctoral residency at Kaiser Permanente’s Outpatient Psychiatric clinic in Pleasanton, CA (also a nationally accredited APA training site).
While pursuing graduate studies at the New School for Social Research in New York I was involved in research at the Center for Attachment Research (CAR) and also the Brief Psychotherapy Research Program.
I have experience working with children, adults and families, and I have received training in multiple treatment modalities including Psychodynamic Psychotherapies, Relational Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Structural Family Therapy, Play Therapy, Trauma Informed Care and Interventions, and Mindfulness based interventions.
I have received training in both child and adult development.
I have also received specific training in both child and adult psychological testing evaluation and also have experience with neuropsychological testing.
